Apply for SoftWareBusters Award

We at SoftWareBusters do periodically evaluate listed software products. However, having more than 10,000 listings, we are unable to rate all of them.

If your software listed at SoftWareBusters has not been rated yet, you can submit it for SoftWareBusters award for free(*) using the form below and, if it passes our evaluation, display the appropriate award image on your web site by linking it to your software description page at SoftWareBusters. You can get the award graphics from SoftWareBusters Awards page.

*Note: Software products larger than 8MB are evaluated for free ONLY if you provide download URL for custom build hosted on your server with our affiliate data already included, to link to it from SoftWareBusters site instead of your original download URL, otherwise you should pay $10.00 fee for our evaluation.

Please provide the following information when submitting your software for SoftWareBusters Award:

1. Program ID, Title and Version (as it appears on SoftWareBusters);
2. Approximate Download Size of your software;
3. URL of the page on your web site where you have placed the backlink to us (you can find both text and button linking examples and get 88x31 button at Link To Us page);
4. If your software has any functional limitations for unregistered version, please provide us the registration information made out to "SoftWareBusters". We guarantee that it will not be shared.

The following criteria are taken into consideration when reviewing a software:

1. Features and Performance;
2. Usability and Appearance;
3. Stability;
4. Documentation assistance;
5. Pricing;
6. Download size (small is best);

All the software products are rated on a 1 to 5 scale:
"1 Star" (Awful) - The software scores low on all of its rating criteria and has no meaningful strengths.
"2 Stars" (Poor) - The software does what it is supposed to do, but suffers from a few additional major flaws.
"3 Stars" (Good) - The software does what it is supposed to do and has no major flaws, but there may be similar programs that work better or have more features.
"4 Stars" (Very Good) - Despite a few minor flaws, the software does what it claims and only needs a small touch either in the functionality or the interface.
"5 Stars" (Excellent) - The software scores high on all of its rating criteria and has no meaningful drawbacks.

In addition, if your software does not contain any viruses, adware or spyware modules, it will be awarded by "100% Clean" Award.

Note: We are currently unable to evaluate software products that require any special equipment or hardware. Also we do not evaluate the software products related to the following categories, including, but not limited to: desktop themes, screensavers, wallpaper managers, games, database & scientifis tools, educational tools, SEO tools, development tools and components, etc. However, they can still be submitted for "100% Clean" Award.
